Xcite XB-1 Square Bill

As our range of reviews from Blue Water Gear continues we look at the Xcite XB-1 today. It's a great little number with a potent secret.

The XB-1 is a square bill crank bait but not the usual suspect you are used to. Don't be fooled by the "skew" lip it's a built in feature to make the lure dart from time to time. Inside the lure is a super loud "one-knocking" type tungsten ball which emits a loud and enticing rattle. The treble hooks are proper and super sharp straight out of the packet.

The magic with this lure is its action. It really reminds me of the original Storm Wiggle Wart. For those that don't know you can do some research online about the original Wiggle Wart and see it's become somewhat of a legend. It has a super wide wiggle waddle motion which is great. The Chartreuse Black, Citrus Shad and Reaper Craw are my favorite picks and I opted for a Reaper Craw for the review.

The XB-1 is a great squarebill with a super wiggly action and I managed many fish while fishing with it. I suspect It will help me fill my livewell many times over the coming months. Be sure to stock up before they are all on backorder!
